Lorraine Haricombe, dean of university libraries at Bowling Green State University, is the fifth and final candidate for dean of libraries at Kansas University.

Haricombe will give a public presentation at 4 p.m. Thursday in Alderson Auditorium in the Kansas Union.

Haricombe earned her bachelor’s and graduate degrees in library and information science at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. She earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in library and information science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
