Forums scheduled on homelessness
The Lawrence Community Shelter’s board of directors will host three public forums on community relations and the homeless.
The forums – 1 p.m. Saturday; 3:30 p.m. April 22; 6:30 p.m April 27 – will be in the auditorium at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
The forums are aimed at educating the public on homelessness in Lawrence, airing concerns and developing a plan for resolving conflicts and promoting acceptance.
