Deadline approaches for Sertoma cook-off
Area businesses have until Wednesday to register their teams for the Sertoma Club’s Corporate Cook-off and Mixer, set for May 12 at Broken Arrow Park.
Contestants in the corporate portion of the barbecue cook-off will compete in three categories: Best Food (won last year by Wiklund, Peterson and Krische DDS, above), Best Booth and, in a new category this year, People’s Choice. Proceeds support Sertoma’s co-sponsorship of the Schiefelbusch Communication Camp for communication-challenged youth.
