Donate blood today at the Community Blood Center, 1410 Kasold Drive, and the center will donate a dollar toward the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Mo.

The “A Buck for Buck” promotion will happen at Community Blood Centers throughout the Kansas City, Mo., metropolitan area. For those looking to meet Negro Leagues legend Buck O’Neil, he’ll be at the center’s main location, 4040 Main St. in Kansas City, Mo., between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Free T-shirts, food and drinks will be available, and donors can register to win prizes including an O’Neil autographed baseball and a ruby and diamond necklace.
