Nashville artist Marc-Alan Barnette will facilitate a songwriting workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Leawood.

The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Leawood United Methodist Church, 2915 W. 95th St. Sponsored by the Kansas City Nashville Songwriters Assn., the workshop fee is $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Lunch is included.
