Pizza, book-signing also on Smith’s itinerary

Richard Norton Smith, the first permanent director of the Dole Institute of Politics, will return to Lawrence on Wednesday to speak about his forthcoming book.

Smith, now executive director of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, will give a free public lecture at 7 p.m. at the institute. A reception and book-signing will follow.

Smith’s upcoming book, “On His Own Terms,” is about Nelson Rockefeller.
