Former N.J. governor to give address at Baker

Former New Jersey governor Thomas Kean, chairman of the 9-11 Commission from 2002 to 2004, will give the keynote address at Baker University’s convocation Tuesday in Baldwin.

The convocation will be at 11 a.m. in Rice Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

Kean, who also is the Loreine Collins Deitrich Distinguished Lecturer, will talk about “Lessons Learned: 9-11 and the War on Terrorism.” The Commission investigated events leading up to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

After his speech, Kean will answer audience questions for 15 to 20 minutes.
