WINCHESTER ? After allowing an opening score in the first quarter, McLouth ran off 40 straight points to improve to 4-0 for the first time since 1994.

“You never like to be behind, but it’s good to see how your kids will react,” McLouth coach Harry Hester said. “Our kids responded well. They never did panic, and nobody got down on each other.”

Kevin Stewart ran for 172 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns and added another score on a 59-yard pass from Jimmy Steffey for the Bulldogs. Steffey also ran for 99 yards and a touchdown.

McLouth will travel Friday to Valley Falls.
