The Kaw Valley Quilters Guild’s 2005 show, Picking Up the Pieces, will be Saturday and Sunday at the Lawrence Community Building, 11th and Vermont streets.

The event will include the first-ever guild boutique as well as a silent auction to benefit local charities and several new vendors. There also will be a raffle for a Janome Jem Gold machine.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and admission is $3.
