Two former Kansas University football players were released Saturday as NFL teams made their final cuts. Three-year veteran defensive end Ron Warner was sliced by the Washington Redskins, and rookie free-agent fullback Austine Nwabuisi was let go by the New York Jets. However, Brandon Rideau, an undrafted free-agent wide receiver, made the roster of the Cleveland Browns, as did linebacker David McMillan, the club’s fifth-round draft choice.
