K.C. Board of Trade to expand trading time

The Kansas City Board of Trade, which tracks agricultural trade futures, said it would expand its trading hours beginning Oct. 9 in response to a similar move from its counterpart in Chicago.

The KCBT hard red winter wheat futures contract will trade electronically between 6:32 p.m. and 6 a.m. The KCBT hard red winter wheat options contract will trade between 6:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. The KCBT Value Line stock index futures contract will trade between 6:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., and the regular Value Line stock index futures contract will trade between 6:17 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

It is open from Sunday to Friday.
