Overcast skies, cool temps to continue

Those who were able to sleep in today thanks to the extra hour afforded from the Daylight Savings Time switch could enjoy some good sleeping weather this morning.

The rain that moved in overnight is going to stick around off and on during the morning today.

Highs should remain cool — in the lower 60s — and the clouds should stick around for the most part, with afternoon skies clearing slightly to partly cloudy. The forecast for Monday calls for much of the same.

At 8 a.m. the temperature in Lawrence was 51 degrees, with the dew point at 46 and a south wind blowing at 8 mph.
