Sports dollars
To the editor:
It’s about the $10 million donation for the KU football stadium complex. When, oh when, will someone donate $10 million to increase the salaries of the KU staff and teachers who are, at last count, the lowest paid of either the Big 10 or Big 12 schools. Come on sports fans … you can’t have all of it all of the time. Consider the ethics of enough for a change. I mean, really, what is ultimately in the best interest of the future of this country that is quite fragile now?
