Rollover accident injures 3 on K-10
Three people were injured Sunday morning after a one-vehicle accident at the eastern edge of Lawrence on Kansas Highway 10.
A vehicle was driving north about 4 a.m. on O’Connell Road when it crossed K-10 and hit a stationary object and then rolled, said Lt. Kari Wempe, of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Two people involved were flown to a hospital in the Kansas City area, and another was transported by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Others involved were not injured, Wempe said.
Wempe said Sunday evening that the accident was still under investigation and no further information was available.
