To the editor:
This is in regard to the letter regarding “No sportsmanship” published Oct. 19. It is rather amusing that Mr. Craig failed to point out that he was the losing coach in this contest against the U12 team. One detail was omitted concerning the game. The team only had two subs for the game to rotate in and out; no player was able to stay out that long of a time. And how sad that you didn’t mention that the “entire” team played an exceptional game. No one player makes up a team. Sportsmanship begins in your own backyard.
