Game faces
To the editor:
Since the Lawrence Journal-World seems to have unlimited access under the Freedom of Information Act, I would respectfully request that they obtain a copy of Mark Mangino’s halftime “inspirational speech” that brought the “fighting” Jayhawks out of the locker rooms to amass a total of zero points in the second half last Saturday. Everybody (allegedly) performs well in practice, but can’t cut the mustard in “real time.” Well, quit practicing!
Hey fellas, it’s Halloween! There are “game faces” to be had all over town. Somebody go get 11 for the offense.
