Today looks to be a sunny and warm day for those planning to tailgate at Arrowhead Stadium before the Kansas-Oklahoma game.

According to 6News Weather, temperatures are expected to warm up to 77 degrees under sunny skies. Expect winds to come out of the northeast at 3 to 5 mph. Temperatures will drop to 48 degrees tonight.

At 8 a.m., Lawrence’s temperature was 56 degrees with a relative humidity of 61 percent.

Temperatures look to remain slightly above average through Sunday with highs in the upper 70’s. By early next week, temperatures are expected to top out in the low 80’s.
