Kansas history musical slated for today, Sunday

Performances of “The Ballad of Black Jack,” a musical about Bleeding Kansas history, will be at 7 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Sunday in Rice Auditorium at Baker University in Baldwin.

Baldwin playwright and composer Don Mueller wrote the musical in 1970, and it returned to Baldwin as part of the Maple Leaf Festival in 2001.

Tickets, available at the door, are $12 for adults, $6 for students and $25 for a family.
