Flood victims offered free tetanus shots
Free tetanus shots are being offered to flood victims by Cushing Memorial Hospital in Leavenworth. The shots are being given in the hospital’s emergency and triage room.
The hospital also is temporarily housing 10 of 46 residents who were evacuated form the Country Care nursing home because of flooding at Easton. Other residents were taken in by other area hospitals, assisted living centers and nursing homes.
