Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass., will hold “An Old Fashioned Winter Holidays” celebration for children on Saturday.

Children 6 to 12 years old are invited to attend from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. They will learn how the holidays were celebrated more than 100 years ago. They will get a chance to make party crackers, salt dough ornaments and other decorations of the time.
