¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 25-year-old man Friday after a call of a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Minnesota Street. Police were called to the residence by the man’s girlfriend, said Sgt. Dan Hubbel.

The two had a confrontation, which became physical, and then the man left with a sawed-off shotgun in his possession, Hubbel said. Jail records show the man was booked into the Douglas County Jail after 7 p.m. on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal possession of a firearm and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.
