Auburn Hills, Mich ? Cheryl Ford scored 15 points, and the Detroit Shock used a game-ending 20-2 run to stun the San Antonio Silver Stars, 74-65, Tuesday night.

San Antonio led by as many as nine in the last five minutes, but Andrea Stinson hit two three-pointers in the final three minutes to rally the Shock.

Ford also grabbed 12 rebounds, while Deanna Nolan had 11 points and 10 assists for Detroit.

Wendy Palmer-Daniel and LaToya Thomas led San Antonio with 16 points each.

Fever 83, Mercury 76

Indianapolis – Tamika Catchings scored 22 of her 28 points in the second half to lead Indiana. Natalie Williams added 12 points, and Kelly Schumacher and Jurgita Streimikyte each scored 10 for the Fever (2-0). Indiana held off a late Phoenix rally.
