Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 20-year-old Kansas University student reported items including a Macintosh iPod, a Russian gas mask and a $400 Samurai sword stolen between 12:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. Monday from his apartment in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street.

¢ A 42-year-old Lawrence woman reported a $3,500 ring and other items stolen between April 1 and May 6 from her home in the 2500 block of West Sixth Street.

¢ Life Star air ambulance helicopter landed Tuesday evening in a field near Eudora near the 800 section of North 2200 Road in response to a medical emergency call.
