KU seeks feedback on new logos

Kansas University has released its four finalists for becoming the new official university logo.

Each of the logos has the letters “KU” in different typefaces. Each is in the royal blue selected as the official university color, along with crimson.

The university is gathering feedback on the logos, which were designed by the firm Landrey-Morrow in Portland, Ore. The designs can be seen at www.ur.ku.edu/marketing, with the site also providing an opportunity for comments.

University officials will gather the comments over the next two weeks, with the new logo selected in June by KU administrators.

Officials hope the logo will be a university-wide symbol for all of KU’s campuses.
