Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s Megan Johnson and Madison Bertrand each scored a goal, but Shawnee Mission South handed the Lions a lopsided 6-2 high school soccer loss in their regular-season finale Monday.

“The girls played extremely well,” Lawrence coach Jason Clark said. “They battled until the end and did a nice job of competing. But we played against a good team, and they got the better of us at times.”

LHS (3-13) will learn its regional fate this weekend.
