Services for Nadean Fisher, 79, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Archibald and Alta Nelson Thomas.
Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Deaf Church in Kansas City, Mo., and a member of the Kansas City Deaf Club. She was also a member of Lawrence Women's Bowling Assn.
She married Edwin Fisher on Oct. 3, 1950, in Iowa City, Iowa. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Trina Fry, Overland Park, Lindy Gillette, Olathe, and Doreen Milligan, Clay Center; a brother, Forest Thomas, South Daytona, Fla.; a sister, Norma Cowski, Pharr, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or American Cancer Society, sent in care of the mortuary.
