Juanita Faye Crist, Edgerton

? Services for Juanita Faye Crist, 66, Edgerton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Gardner. Burial will be in Gardner Cemetery.

Mrs. Crist died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1939, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Manford and Mable Hudson Hammon. She moved from the Fulton and Fort Scott area to Edgerton, where she graduated high school. She also lived in Gardner.

Mrs. Crist was a homemaker. She worked at King Radio, Seaton Van Lines and Hammon Boot Company. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Lenexa.

She married Charles C. Crist on June 15, 1957, in Miami, Okla. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Darrell Crist, Gardner, Donald Crist, Olathe, and Darius Crist, Edgerton; two daughters, Deanna Palmer and Darla Grammer, both of Wellsville; two brothers, Charles Hammon, Concordia, and Robert Hammon, Wellsville; a sister, Merna Seylor, Wellsville; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner.

The family suggests memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Arthritis Foundation, sent in care of the funeral home, 106 S. Center St., Gardner 66030.
