No services are planned for Kenneth Sylvester Goll, 85, Lawrence. A private inurnment will be at a later date.
Mr. Goll died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Aug. 20, 1919, in Independence, the son of William and Irma Cushman Goll.
Mr. Goll had lived in Lawrence most of his life.
He was the owner of OK Tires until his retirement in 1975. He had worked at Sunflower Ammunition Plant through World War II.
He was a member of the Trail Riders Club, a square-dancing club, and the Air Stream Travel Group. He was also a lifelong member of the Alvamar Country Club.
He married Mary Jackson on June 4, 1940, in Olathe. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Judith Burns and Linda Kay, both of Lawrence; a sister, Margarite Bowers, Independence; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
