Lawrence High’s Megan Klingler and Free State High’s Jamie Stanclift each earned a first-team berth on the All-Sunflower League girls basketball team as chosen by league coaches.

Klingler, a 6-foot senior, led the Lions to a 12-9 record and a berth in the sub-state semifinals. Stanclift, a 5-9 senior, was the leading scorer for the 8-13 Firebirds.

Lawrence High’s Drew Huff, a 5-9 junior, was the only city player on the second team. The Lions’ Lacey Elmore and Sydney Wilson were tapped for honorable mention, as were Free State’s Banaka Okuwone and Jenna Brantley.

Olathe South’s Jadhon Kerr, a 5-11 sophomore, was voted player of the year.
