The future groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas University. He attends the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.

The couple plan a Sept. 17 wedding in Lawrence.

Harrod-Ledbetter

Virgil and Renee Harrod, Lawrence, and Douglas and Barbara Ledbetter, McLouth, announce the engagement of their children, Tamara Harrod and Timothy Ledbetter, both of Smithfield, Va.

The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2000 from Emporia State University. She teaches kindergarten.

The future groom is a 1996 graduate of McLouth High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2000 from Kansas University. He is the quality director for Liebherr Mining Equipment Co. in Newport News, Va.

The couple plan a July 2 wedding at United Methodist Church in McLouth.

McKinney-Todd

Smokey and Kristy McKinney, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan McKinney, Lawrence, to Seth Todd, Topeka, son of Joe and Lauren Todd, Topeka.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 home-school graduate. She is a junior at York Christian College, York, Neb., where she is studying English and religious studies.

The future groom is a 2000 Topeka High School graduate. He received an associate’s degree in aviation maintenance from Kansas State University. He is employed at Holiday Inn in York, Neb.

Kimberly Ann Cravotta and Billy Paul Williams, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sharon Abram, Lawrence, and Warren Haskin II, Austin, Texas. She was an international flight attendant for Continental Airlines. She currently works for Century 21 Miller & Midyett.

The future groom is the son of the late Erika and Leon Williams. He received his master’s degree in architecture in 2003 from Kansas University. He is an architect for Treanor Architects in Lawrence.

The couple plan a May wedding.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of LHS. He plans to graduate in May with a degree in chemical engineering at Kansas University.

The bride-to-be graduated from Knollwood Baptist High School in Topeka. She received a degree in physical therapy in 2001 from Washburn University. She is a certified physical therapist assistant for Key Rehabilitation in Topeka.

The future groom graduated from Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in education in 2002 from Kansas University. He is a certified athletic trainer for De Soto High School.

The couple plan a May 14 wedding in The Pergola at the Ensley Botanical Gardens of Lake Shawnee.
