Art entries wanted for seniors exhibit

Presbyterian Manor’s “Art is Ageless” exhibition is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and organizers have opened the August show to all area artists 65 or older.

“As a system, Presbyterian Manors chose to open entries for the 25th anniversary contest to all artists who are ‘seniors’ in our area because this is a celebration of art and the ageless nature of creativity,” says Maclyn Pettengill, marketing director.

Entry forms are available at Presbyterian Manor, 1429 Kasold Drive, or by calling 841-4262. Works must have been created within the past five years by an individual artist. There are seven categories. Artists also can compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 2006 “Art is Ageless” calendar.
