Soybean futures advanced while grain futures edged mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery fell 1/4 cent to $3.23 1/4 a bushel; July corn rose 1 1/4 cent to $2.18 1/4 a bushel; July oats rose 1 1/4 cent to $1.39 a bushel; July soybeans rose 6 3/4 cents to $6.75 1/4 a bushel.
Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Pork futures finished mixed.
August live cattle rose .27 cent to 83.42 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose .60 cent to $1.117 a pound; July lean hogs fell 1.20 cent to 67.95 cents a pound; July pork bellies rose 1.12 cent to 70.72 cents a pound.
