Kansas City joins the ranks of a select group of cities worldwide with its KC Fringe Festival this weekend, and several Lawrence performance groups will be there to take part. Fifty-two shows at 16 venues are scheduled during the three-day celebration of the arts. Lawrence participants include:
¢ "Right Between the Ears," Kansas Public Radio's award-winning comedy show, 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Crown Center Pavilion, 2450 Grand Ave., Kansas City, Mo.
¢ "Three," a one-hour vaudevillian-style movement theater piece by play labbb, a group of students and recent graduates of Kansas University's theater and film department, 7:30 p.m. today, 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday, 7 p.m. Sunday, Chameleon Arts Center, 2025 Tracy, Kansas City, Mo.
¢ "FUTZ," an E.M.U. Theatre tragedy about a farmer who loves his pig carnally, 6 p.m. today, 9 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Screenland Gallery, 1656 Washington, Kansas City, Mo.
