Woodland back in action today

Kansas Amateur champion Gary Woodland won’t be taking a respite from golf today.

Woodland and Kansas University teammate Tyler Docking will be at Alvamar Golf Course this morning for the completion of the KGA Four-Ball championship that was suspended June 13 because of rain.

Woodland and Docking were deadlocked with Chris Mabry and John Kelly, both members of Missouri University’s golf team, when rain halted play after 30 holes of the scheduled 36-hole championship round.

Both duos will tee off at 9 a.m. today from the No. 13 hole at Alvamar.

Woodland teamed with Kevin Ward, a former KU teammate who has since turned pro, to win the 2004 KGA Four-Ball.
