Army ROTC Cadet James R. Tullis received the George C. Marshall Award during the annual ROTC awards seminar at the Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. His selection was based on grade-point average, cadet activities and participation, and leadership potential. He is the son of Robert Tullis, McLouth, and Debra Dixon, Oskaloosa. Tullis is a 1998 graduate of McLouth High School.
