The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s July 6 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Seven full tables played a stratified game and a Mitchell movement.

Catherine Blumenfeld and Patt Radford led the North-South pairs by winning first place in A. Wanda Durbin and Suzanne Wassmer were second in A. Third in A was Phyllis Brownlee and Virginia Eddy. First in B was Linda Heavin and Harriet Olson. Second in B was Pat Burgstahler and Margrete Hartman. Frances Vogel and Mary Joyce placed third in B.

East-West pairs were led by Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor, who were first in A. Second in A was Mona Bell and Julia Brooks. Carol Ball and Nita Scales were first in B and third in A. Jan Carpenter and Florine Creek were second in B and fourth in A. Grant Sutton and Ann Thompson were third in B.

¢ The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club’s July 6 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Barbara Hamilton and Bill Hamilton led North-South pairs by placing first in A, B and C. Judy Bevan and Mary Beth Treece were second in A, B and C. Earl Core and Bob Anderson were third in A, B and C.

East-West pairs were led by Don Brennaman and Steve Rego, who placed first in A and B. Helen Huffman and Robert Huffman were second in A and B and first in C. Harriett Olson and Barbara Figgins were third in A and B and second in C. Russell LaForce and Albert Ballard were third in C.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s July 8 was directed by Don Brennaman. Eleven and a half tables played. Diane Childs and Judy Hildreth were first in A and B playing North-South. Frances Vogel and Erna Holmes placed second in A and B. Third place went to Kent McCullough and Charles Hedges. Bob Dailey and Barbara McCorkle were first in C. Janice Hollowell and Gladys Rivard were second in C, while IIse Steinhardt and Jo Anderson placed third in C.

East-West pairs were led by Charlie Vaughn and Shari Krentzel, who placed first in A, B and C. Lynn Hui and Catherine Blumenfeld placed second in A, B and C. Virginia Seaver and Carol Ball were third in A and B. Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell were third in C.

¢ The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club was directed by Jerry Sloan with nine participants. Patt Radford was first, Shari Krentzel was second and Bob Anderson was third.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club was directed by Virginia Seaver. Eleven tables played a stratified game with a Mitchell movement. Patt Radford and John Hickey led North-South pairs in A and B flights, followed by Kent McCullough and Charles Hedges as second in both A and B. Barbara and Bill Hamilton were third in A and B and first in C. Patricia Lombardi and Donna Munson placed second in C. Bob Anderson and Betty Spalsbury were third in C.

East-West pairs were led by David Piro and Donna Johnson, who won first in A. Catherine and Mike Blumenfeld were second in A and first in B and C. Terry Tolar and Lynn Hui were third in A and second in B. Barbara Merriam and Dorothy Netson were second in C, followed by Ilse Steinhardt and Jo Andersen, who were third in C.

¢ University Bridge Club announces the winners of its July 9 game. Hosts were Wanda and Dale Kring, and Dan and Carolyn Harden.

Blue winners were Alice Akin, first; Dale Kring, second; Mary Jo Spotts, third; Bebe Huxtable, fourth; and Gladys Knight, fifth.

Pink winners were Aillen Bocquin, first; Myrna Ikenberry, second; Wanda Kring, third; Edna Galle, fourth; and Mona Langlois, fifth.
