Schuler services

? Services for Marylyn Jo Schuler, 65, Oskaloosa, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Schuler died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born April 9, 1939, in Nebraska, the daughter of LeRoy Franklin and Mildred May Roland Taylor. She graduated from Geneva (Neb.) High School. She also attended Wayne State Teachers College in Wayne, Neb.

Mrs. Schuler worked as meal site manager for Jefferson County Meals on Wheels in Oskaloosa, McLouth, Ozawkie and Perry for the last 10 years. She also worked at Cherokee Lodge as a nurses aide and CNA.

She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church Group.

She married Eldon Ray Schuler on July 27, 1958, in Laurel, Neb. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Greg Schuler, Oskaloosa; six brothers, Jack Taylor, Ogallala, Neb., Richard Taylor and Butch Taylor, both of Alliance, Neb., Merle Taylor, Berlin, Gary Taylor, Amarillo, Texas, and Aaron Taylor, Tacoma, Wash.; six sisters, Frances Synoground, Minature, Neb., Imo Michnick, Dorothy Limbery, Bonnie Thrayer, Sheryl Taylor and Kathy Hanson, all of Alliance; and a grandson.

A son, Nathan Sinclair, died earlier.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 10 a.m. until the service hour Saturday.
