KU-Baylor notes
- Kansas University leads the all-time series, 9-1. KU won the last meeting, 74-54, Feb. 18, 2004, in Allen Fieldhouse. KU is 3-1 at Ferrell Center.
- Baylor in Big 12 play has lost at Texas A&M (79-60) and Oklahoma State (82-53). At home, the Bears have beaten Colorado (67-59) and lost to Oklahoma (65-61). The Bears won at Purdue, 73-72, on Dec. 30.
- The Bears have surpassed last year’s win total. BU went 8-21 in Scott Drew’s first season.
- BU has lost 13 straight games against ranked foes (2-26 last four years).
- BU is among the country’s most inexperienced teams, returning one scholarship player. BU has dressed seven or fewer scholarship players for 44 straight games. The Bears do have two sophomore transfers — Tim Bush from LSU and Patrick Fields from Ole Miss.
- Nine of the 12 players on Baylor’s roster are Texans.
- BU is 12-15 over the last four years against Big 12 North schools, 8-37 versus the South.
