East Hill Singers to perform concert
The East Hill Singers, a chorus comprised of inmates from Lansing Correctional Facility and volunteers, will perform a concert, “Many Nations, One World” at 4 p.m. Sunday at Grace Episcopal Cathedral, 701 S.W. Eighth Ave. in Topeka.
The group will perform two sections: music from various religious traditions around the world and a selection of popular and folk music to celebrate America. The chorus also will perform a bluegrass number.
The East Hill Singers is a program of Arts in Prison Inc., a nonprofit organization founded by Kansas native Elvera Voth.

Souper Bowl fund-raiser set for Arts Center
The eighth annual Souper Bowl is 11 a.m. Feb. 5 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.
Local artists and businesses have donated handmade ceramic bowls to sell for $10 each. Included in the price is a lunch of soup, bread and a beverage.
Proceeds from the event support the arts center’s ceramics program.
Souper Bowl Saturday is sponsored by local artists, Bracker’s Ceramics, The Potter’s Guild, Hy-Vee and Great Harvest Bread Co.
