LINCOLN, NEB. ? Kansas University senior Amy Gruber won three individual events Saturday in the Jayhawks’ Big 12 Conference dual at Nebraska, but the Cornhuskers won, 180-120.

Gruber won the 50 freestyle (23.94), the 100 freestyle (51.96) and the 100 butterfly (56.43).

She also teamed with senior Aly Colver and freshmen Anne Liggett and Terri Schramka to win the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 3:32.31.

Schramka also picked up an individual win in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.04.

Senior Miranda Isaac won the 100 breaststroke (1:05.85) and the 200 breaststroke (2:21.35). Junior Gina Gnatzig won in the 200 backstroke (2:06.44).

The Jayhawks (4-5 overall, 0-4 in Big 12) will play host to Truman State in a nonconference dual meet at 6 p.m. Friday.
