Joseph M. Melton, Raytown, Mo.

RAYTOWN, MO. ? Services for Joseph M. Melton, 71, Raytown, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Faith Presbyterian Church in Raytown.

Mr. Melton died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at St. Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, Mo.

He was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Utica, Mo., the son of Vic and Helen Melton.

Mr. Melton was a commercial artist and retired from Midwest Poster. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He was active in KC Turner Square Dance Club.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Melton, of the home; two sons, Kevin Delane and Karl Douglas, both of Raytown; a daughter, Kendra Diane Melton, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Robert Hellstrom, Lawrence, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
