Catherine Bernice Peak

? Services for Catherine Bernice Peak, 78, Baldwin, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Baldwin. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Edmond Cemetery, Edmond.

Mrs. Peak died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Baldwin.

She was born June 30, 1926, in Norton, the daughter of George W. and Mary A. Pankaskie Deiter. She graduated from Norton High School in 1944.

She was a member of the Harmonson-Redd American Legion Post 63 of Norton. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on a farm.

In November 1999, Mrs. Peak moved to Baldwin.

She married Junior Dean Peak on Dec. 22, 1944, in Norton. He died in 1978.

A grandson also died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Peak, Silver Lake; two daughters, Janet Harris, Wellsville, and Pamela Hill, Baldwin; three brothers, Joseph Deiter, John Deiter and Paul Deiter; two sisters, Agnes Deiter Heffelman and Carol Dunlap; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the church. The family also will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Norton.
