Ottawa ? Amy Petty scored 17 points, and Kira Gonzalez added 16 points, helping De Soto snap a three-game losing streak. Ottawa had plenty of opportunities to score in the paint, but De Soto did enough defensively to keep the Cyclones at bay.
“They were taking those shots under pressure,” De Soto coach Dwight Spencer said. “Give my kids credit. They played hard.”
Kelsey Studley led Ottawa with 19 points.
