Manhattan ? Seabury Academy’s girls basketball team stumbled out of winter break. The Seahawks scored just two points in each of the first three quarters in a 39-14 loss to Flint Hills Christian.

“We played horrible,” Seabury coach Nick Taylor said. “We never showed up. I didn’t have them prepared. I take the blame for that. It was a total lapse. We never showed up, and we suffered.”

Laura Frizell led Seabury (3-3) with 12 points. Lane Frizell scored the Seahawks’ other two points.

Seabury will travel Tuesday to McLouth.
