Edward Alexander Bradley

? Graveside military services for Edward Alexander Bradley, 77, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Mr. Bradley died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Rolling Hills Nursing Center in Topeka.

He was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Nelson A. and Barbara Hornbuckle Bradley. He lived in Houston for 30 years before moving to Topeka.

Mr. Bradley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific theater. He worked as a therapist at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Houston. During his retirement, he volunteered for many years and won service awards at the hospital. He was Catholic.

Survivors include a son, Guy, Lawrence; and two grandsons.

The family suggests memorials to Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
