Naomi Jo Martin Hines Moore, Ottawa

? Services for Naomi Jo Martin Hines Moore, 78, rural Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Floral Hills Cemetery in Raytown, Mo.

Mrs. Moore died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at her home.

She was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Rogers, Ark., the daughter of Arvil and Gladys McGraarh Martin Sr. She moved to Tiger, Mo., and attended Worland (Mo.) Grade School. She graduated from Hume (Mo.) High School in 1944 and then moved to the Kansas City, Mo., area.

Mrs. Moore was a mail-order plant supervisor for Sears in Kansas City, Mo., for 35 years until she retired in 1987. She moved to rural Ottawa in 1978, to Gardner in 1987 and back to the Ottawa farm in 2001.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, and a former member of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Raytown, Mo. She also was a member of T.O.P.S., Sears Retirees and Briles School House Birthday Club.

She married Emmett E. Hines on Sept. 28, 1946. He died March 15, 1975. She married Thomas H. Moore on Nov. 6, 1976. He died July 20, 2001.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Lutz, Lee’s Summit, Mo., Donna Rayson and Tracy DePriest, both of Ottawa; a brother, Arvil J. Martin Jr.; seven grandchildren; and her close friend, Alvan Chamberlain.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church in Ottawa.
