Donovan-Linn

Mary Kane Zaboglio Donovan and Charles D. Linn were married Dec. 31, 2004, at the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence with Judge Mary Briscoe officiating.

The bride is the daughter of the late Annabel and Albert Zaboglio, Genoa, Wis. The groom is the son of Charles and Shirley Linn, Tecumseh.

Matron of honor was Ann Muirhead. Best man was Pat Hanrahan. Attendants were Molly Donovan and Alice Donovan, daughters of the bride.

A dinner reception was given in the Free State Room of the hotel.

The bride is a graduate of St. Clara Academy, Genoa, Wis., and St. Louis University. She received a master’s degree in special education from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. She is a math resource teacher for the School for Physical City, New York City Department of Education.

The groom is a graduate of Topeka West High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kansas State University. He is deputy editor of Architectural Record magazine.

The couple reside in New York City.

Zavatski-Joler

Irina Zavatski and Jake Joler, both of Rochester Hills, Mich., were married Nov. 30, 2004, at the Riu Palace in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Henry and Zoya Zavatski, North Olmsted, Ohio. The groom is the son of Ron and Linda Joler, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Marina Pulliam. Best man was Alec Joler. Flower girl was Selena Zavatski.

Others in attendance were Dimitri and Annette Zavatski, Matt Whall, Matt Saunders and Bill Nottingham.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Riu Palace.

The bride is a graduate of Brush High School in Lyndurst, Ohio. She received a degree in industrial design in 2001 from the Cleveland Institute of Art in Ohio. She is employed by Chrysler Corp. as a car designer.

The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He earned a degree in industrial design in 2001 from the Cleveland Institute of Art. He is an industrial designer for Lear Corp.

The couple reside in Rochester Hills, Mich.
