Gladys Faye Dick Ellis, Perry

? Services for Gladys Faye Dick Ellis, 97, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Perry United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry.

Mrs. Ellis died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Rolling Hills Assisted Living Center in Topeka.

She was born Jan. 24, 1908, in Perry, the daughter of Milton Herbert and Nettie Harvey Dick.

Mrs. Ellis worked for Columbia Title and Trust Co. in Topeka for many years. She also worked as a court record researcher and was a homemaker. She was a 70-year member of Perry United Methodist Church and Women’s Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Happy Hour Club in Perry.

She married Walter Irl Ellis on March 26, 1925, in Topeka. He died earlier.

A daughter, Marita Wentworth, died earlier.

Survivors include four sons, Keith Ellis, Oskaloosa, Merle Lloyd Ellis, Edmond, Okla., Gary Jay Ellis and Lee Edwin Ellis, both of Perry; three daughters, Lila Jean Larsen Scottsdale, Ariz., Carol Arlene Sauve, Anchorage, Alaska, and Sherry Lynn Sanchez, Topeka; 22 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
