Zoe Curry Fulton, Winchester

? Services for Zoe Curry Fulton, 86, Winchester, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Winchester United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery in Winchester.

Mrs. Fulton died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Winchester.

She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Leavenworth, the daughter of James Cameron “Cam” and Katherine Irene McDermond Curry. She was a lifelong resident of Winchester.

She and her husband farmed and she did sewing and mending for Jefferson County Memorial Hospital in Winchester for many years. She was an active member of Winchester United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 62 in Oskaloosa, where she served as organist and sentinel. She was a member of the County Line Unit, Happy Hour Club and Jefferson County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She married Neel “Bill” Fulton on May 29, 1934, in Winchester. He died Jan. 17, 1997.

Two grandchildren died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Jim Fulton, Roeland Park; a daughter, Marie Riley, Winchester; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
