Shortridge-McCarthy

Amy M. Shortridge, Prairie Village, and T. Casey McCarthy, Overland Park, were married Oct. 16, 2004, at Danforth Chapel in Lawrence with the Rev. Harold Johnson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James and Barbara Shortridge, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Thomas and Michelle McCarthy, Leawood.

Maid of honor was Katherine Shortridge. Best man was Ryan McCarthy.

A reception was given at the Webster House in Kansas City, Mo.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in 1993 from Dartmouth College. She earned a juris doctorate in 1997 from Washington and Lee University’s School of Law. She is an attorney.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Blue Valley North High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992 from the University of Arizona. He is vice president of territory sales for American Century Investment Services Inc.

The couple reside in Columbus, Ohio.
